What We Do

World Assist works toward the protection of Human Security. Our primary goal is the protection of individuals endangered by hunger, disease, natural disaster, conflict, poverty and threats to basic human dignity.

Our programs are of Conflict focus and Development focus.

World Assist programs of Conflict focus support the protection of individuals and communities facing situations of displacement, discrimination and persecution.

Development focus programs seek to address issues of poverty, health, education, gender disparities and other inequalities.

These two interrelated areas of Human Security are linked. A worsening situation in one area often contributes to the decline of the other. World Assist works to develop programs that address this interdependency through development activities that proceed alongside conflict resolutions.
